Short-Term Camping and Facility Reservations

The on-line reservation system allows leaders to view availability of any camp or facility and if available, to reserve the cabin, camp site or classroom.  This can be accomplished on-line regardless of the day or hour.  Please make sure that you review the Short-Term reservation policy and information regarding the use of the Camp Sayre-Hayden Lodge and the use of any of the Egan Center Classrooms.

Short-Term (Weekend) Camping

Our on line registration system allows you to make reservations 24 hours a day. The minimum rental is two nights even if you are only going to stay one night. A two night reservation is Friday night after 7 pm to Sunday morning at 11 am. To arrive earlier or leave later please contact the council office to make arrangements.   Each Cabin or Tent Site requires a separate reservation. You have two options for payment: on line or by mail. Payments by mail have 10 working days for payment to arrive at the Council office after which time if no payment is received, then the reservation will be released.

Camp Sayre - Hayden Lodge

Hayden Lodge is located at Camp Sayre and is a great facility for meetings and training events for Scouting and non-Scouting groups.  The lodge will seat up to 120 people and is rented by the day ( A day is 7 am to 10 pm) or multiple days (2 days is from 7 pm Friday to 11 am Saturday).  The lodge is equipped with chalkboards and screens for overhead projector slide presentations. A TV and VCR are also available. It has a large fireplace perfect as a backdrop for special presentations or an indoor campfire for closing ceremonies. Hayden has a  kitchen with refrigeration, gas stoves with ovens, steam table and coffee maker.  Sleeping overnight in Hayden Lodge is not allowed.   If you are booking for a Council event please get a discount number from the office first. All rentals will be charged to the activity that uses them.

Egan Center Classrooms

The Egan Center is located at Camp Sayre and has available three classrooms that can be used.  These classrooms are great for meetings, training events, birthday parties, etc.  The Egan Center classrooms are rented by the hour. Sleeping overnight in the Egan Center Classrooms is not allowed. If you are booking for a Council event please get a discount number from the office first.  All rentals will be charged to the activity that uses them.
