Scout Units Visiting Boston

The City of Boston and the Greater Boston area is a great place for scout units to visit.

Q. Our unit is planning a trip to Boston.  Does the council have a local camp that we could stay at?

A. Camp Sayre is located only 7 miles from downtown Boston.  The camp has cabins, lentos and tent sites and is used by many out of state troops visiting the Boston area.  Contact John Randall at the council office.

Q. Our unit is planning on visiting Boston and we would like information about hiking the Freedom Trail?

A. The Boston Freedom Trail is a great hike for scout units.  Scouts and leaders can earn a patch and medal award for hiking the trail and answering some questions.  The information about this program can be found here.
