Sanctuary Project at TL Storer
During four service weekends in the fall of 2009, the Lodge raised the supports for its All-Faith Sanctuary project at T.L. Storer Scout Camp. Thanks to Troop 250 and the Knights of Storer for their support on these workdays. The Sanctuary will provide a special place of reverence and mediation for use by and in respect of all faiths and religions.
Service weekends for the completion of the structure this spring are currently being planned. Participants are expected to put in a full day of work on Saturday starting at 7:00AM and ending at 4:00PM and will be fed lunch. We will need a dozen people for each weekend (experienced carpenters and manual laborers). If you are available to attend one of these weekends of cheerful service, please register. Rain date for each Saturday is the next day (Sunday). Registered Arrowmen will be contacted with details and updates as each date approaches.
